Winter Workshops (Coaches, Umpire, and Players)

Herndon Reston Youth Field Hockey will host pickup games and coaching/umpiring workshops on Sundays in February from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Herndon High School - all sessions are outdoors on the turf.

Coaching and umpiring workshops are open to interested youth and adults.  Parents of younger-aged players are especially encouraged to attend the coaching sessions because we may have to eliminate  some programs if we do not get coaches.

Both new and experienced players in grades 7 through 12 are welcome to attend.  Players can also participate in the coaching and umpiring workshops.  During the sessions, we will integrate the coaching and umpiring workshops into the free-play time so everyone will get hands-on experience.

All sessions are free, but everyone must register.
